If you grew up in India, you are surely familiar with the game of Andar Bahar, also known as ‘Katti’ in some areas. In other, it has a variation, called ‘Mankatha’.

Rules of the Andar Bahar Game
The Andar Bahar real cash basic rules are pretty simple and this is one of the reasons the game enjoys such popularity in India and elsewhere.
The katti table has two spots: ‘Andar’ on the left and ‘Bahar’ on the right. There is also a centre section. Remember these two Andar Bahar game terms:
- ‘Andar’ refers to the left spot on the table, on player’s left side (although in Hindi it means ‘inside’ and this may be confusing to some)
- ‘Bahar’ refers to the right spot on the table, on player’s right side (although in Hindi it means ‘outside’)
The Dealer starts by shuffling the cards of a regular 52-card deck and then he will draw a card from the deck at random and will put it in the centre of the table, face up. This card is known as the Game Card.
The dealer then deals the cards one by one and puts them face up to the Andar and Bahar sections until a card that matches the Game Card, is dealt.
Your aim is to guess which section the matching card will be dealt: Andar or Bahar. For example, imagine the Game Card is a 5 and you bet that a matching 5 will be dealt in the Andar section. The dealer deals the cards between the Andar and Bahar sections until a 5 is dealt. If that 5 is dealt to the Andar section, your bet wins.
How to Place a Bet While Playing Andar Bahar?
The dealer starts the round by shuffling the deck. You can start placing your bets from this point. The dealer will then cut the deck to select the Game Card, which will be placed in the centre of the table. You will then have 10-15 more seconds to place your bet before no more bets are allowed for that round: on the screen you will see a message, inviting you to place your bets.
To bet, simply choose your chip, select the Andar or Bahar section you wish to bet on, and click the green tick button on your right-hand side.You can choose the 'Auto Confirm Bets' option from the Settings of the game. Remember to check the table's minimum bet amount.
The total amount wagered and how much you won after each hand will be shown on the screen.
If you guess incorrectly, the House keeps your stake.
How to Increase the Betting Amount?
If you want to bet more on Andar Bahar with real cash, it is again very simple. Look to the left of your screen where you will see the chips. First, simply select the chip value you wish to use. Then click on the Andar or Bahar section you want to bet on. You can click once to place one chip or click more times to add more chips. When you're happy with your bet amount, click the green tick button on the left of the screen to place the bet.
Rupees Limits of Andar Bahar
The Andar Bahar table has limits. This means the amount you bet must be between the minimum and maximum amounts. These amounts can vary between different tables. To check the table's limits, look at the information table in the top left of the screen. There you will see Table Min. and Table Max.
Your bet must be the same or more than the Table Min. amount but must be less than the Table Max. аmount.

Payout
At the end of each hand, it’s time to settle up! If you lose the hand, your stake is automatically removed from the screen and the Dealer will bank it.
If you win the hand by correctly predicting whether the Andar or the Bahar side would have the Game Card, it’s time for you to receive your winnings.
The only other important rule is that you get paid out 90% if you won on Andar, and 100% if you won on Bahar:
- Wins on Andar side get 90%
- Wins on Bahar side get 100%
